June 2, 2003 – “This is the best the stock markets have looked in 3 years.”

July 3, 2003 – “the stage is set for increased growth by year-end.”

September 2, 2003 –  “(for the S&P500) to reach equilibrium in 5 years would take more than a 15% per year price rise.”

November 3, 2003 - Most indicators look strong.  Which is what gives me at least a bit of concern.  Too much exuberance could cause this market to get ahead of itself again.  And the economy is not going to continue such hot growth.  There have been only very small corrections in this resurgent bull over recent months.  One could argue that  a 5% correction is due.

December 2, 2003 -- I think if all goes well, the Dow could rise as much as 6% in December, though I think 1-3% is more realistic.  If bad news causes a correction, the downside is –3% to –6%. Overall the outlook for stocks remains positive.  Bonds are neutral short-term and negative long-term.
